What Skills do I bring to my Group?
"Ultimately, leadership is not about glorious crowning acts. It's about keeping your team focused on a goal and motivated to do their best to achieve it, especially when the stakes are high and the consequences really matter. It is about laying the groundwork for others' success, and then standing back and letting them shine." Chris Hadfield https://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/chris_hadfield_637159
The overlaying skill I feel I bring to the table in my group setting is leadership. I have taken it upon myself to try and be my groups leader, through setting up meetings, picking and arranging topics, but also listening to my groups strengths, weaknesses and comforts with certain things as to help them excel in there strong areas.
Going into a business job in accounting, teamwork and group work is very prevalent in today's day and age. So being able to take on the role of a leader is a very looked for trait by employers. it shows responsibility and willingness as well as ability to control a group. However I do not see myself as controlling and am very flexible with taking a back seat to another members leadership if the situation arises
