Andrew Rudback's Brand

Building a Brand
What is my brand? Everyone has one and everyone needs to build one in the world of business.

I am an outgoing individual who strives to do my best at everything I do, whether it be sports, school or work if I am doing it I wanna do it right. Aside from that I am capable of both being a team leader and a team player, I love working with people or doing solo projects, I am happy to be in control of the group but I am also capable of taking directions. I like to think my work ethic is a reflection of me as a person, as I make sure everything I produce I am proud and be able to be happy with whatever I produce both work and schooling. I consider myself to be very capable with technology revolving around things such as Excel and similar programs. The other skill I bring to the table is I consider my public speaking skills to be very good as I consider myself to be very confident and capable at giving presentations regardless of the topic. I am also very good at juggling my time and energy. I don't let myself become too wrapped up in one thing to do others. While working hard in school I make sure I leave time for; work, family, and social/recreational time. As far as goals I am sure to make sure I set achievable goals that help me reach my potential, for school I plan on achieving my CPA while graduating from University of Ontario Institute of Technology after my transfer. And then I plan on pursuing a accounting position with a large corporation. I consider myself loyal and hard working and hope to be a valuable asset to whatever person or company gives me the opportunity to become a member of their team.

Oral presentation skills

Oral Skills What are my best oral presentation skills? I am very good at being able to articulate and explain my points or findings to a classroom. I maintain eye contact and avoid mumbling or speaking into the ground. Minimize or eliminate the use of notes and maintain attention towards the audience. I try to be intriguing and unique with the delivery of my presentation. I try to incorporate audience interaction (questions, activities, etc.) within my presentations. Although I feel my oral presentation skills are very well rounded, some areas in which I need to improve. Ensuring the removal of filler words (like, as, uhm) to help maintain fluidity of the presentation and points. Another area revolves around ensuring adequate responses to questions given by the audience. Although my skills are there I always aspire to improve in any way that I can for my presentations.
Soft skills                    We all have our own specialties and skill sets, everyone brings something different to the table to help provide quality teamwork, some are great note takers, others are organized planners and some are even good with most if not all soft skills. Recognizing your strengths and weaknesses is important to do because it helps establish yourself especially within a team environment.                     The skills I bring to the table revolve around actual execution of projects and assignments. I am very good at assembling and organizing my writing and research pieces. I also consider myself to have very good skills around research on its own, I am able to identify credible and useful sources. I am a good team leader and believe I have a very good ability to assign roles depending on peoples own skill set. Finally I consider myself to be reliable and good with time management and ensuring work is submitted on time.                   However
